New Deputy Head Announced for Ratcliffe College

Mr Kevin Ryce has been appointed as Deputy Head Academic of Ratcliffe College. His appointment took effect from 1st September 2013. Mr Ryce works alongside Mr Jon Reddin, Senior Deputy Head, and is responsible for all academic matters within the School.

Mr Ryce joins Ratcliffe College from Stowe School, in Buckingham, where he had excelled as Head of Economics and Politics and Assistant Housemaster. Previous positions include Staff Development Officer, House Warden and teacher of Economics and Business at St Clare’s College in Oxford and Economics tutor at Strathclyde University.

Married with two young children, Mr Ryce enjoys five-a-side football and playing golf.

Mr Gareth Lloyd, Headmaster, commented: 'We are delighted to have Mr Ryce join us at such an exciting time, with the largest school roll in the history of the College and following such splendid public examination results. He has already introduced positive initiatives in our teaching and learning, which we can discuss further with prospective parents at our Open Morning on Saturday 12th October.'
