A budding performing artist at Rydal Penrhos is gearing up for a prominent role in an upcoming pantomime.
Lucy Jones, a Year 11 pupil at the school, will be part of the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime at the Stiwt Theatre in Wrexham.
The 15-year-old will be part of the cast after a successful audition, with the series of performances running from Saturday, December 9 until Sunday 31.
She has also been part of auditions ahead of the show, which is being produced by LHK Productions.
One of the world’s favourite fairy tales, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a show that is set to deliver the same mix of fun and traditional pantomime with a fresh and current twist for which.
It will feature all the iconic songs from the fairy tale and it stars former Eastenders actor Tony Discipline and Big Brother star Mark Byron.
Lucy has plenty of experience on stage that will serve her well over the coming weeks, with the pupil playing a role in the recent Rydal Penrhos Dramatic Society productions of Annie the Musical and To Kill a Mockingbird.
Deputy Head Tim Cashell, said: “Lucy has an incredible passion for the performing arts and this is going to be a fantastic experience for her to be part of the pantomime.
