A talented sailing star at Rydal Penrhos added to his list of accolades with success at a regional event.
Eddie Farrell, a Year 10 pupil at the school, came away with a pair of podium finishes from a competition held at Llandudno Sailing Club earlier this year.
The Welsh international wasted no time in making an impact in his new Laser Radial, which he was competing in for the first time, by claiming victory in the first race after a polished round.
This was followed up by an impressive second spot in the preceding race, earning him a double for his efforts during the afternoon.
The pupil has enjoyed a phenomenal amount of academic and sporting success at Rydal Penrhos in addition to his fine exploits on the water.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, said: “Eddie continues to demonstrate his immense promise in the sport of sailing, and winning events like this will aid his progression considerably in years to come.
“Along with numerous others, Eddie is no stranger to high achievement which is a testament to the work ethic of each pupil and the commitment shown by our extremely skilled staff members who are aiding their development considerably.”
