A world renowned choreographer held a special Easter dance camp at Rydal Penrhos.
Dane Bates, who has worked on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and a host of West End productions, led the four-day Intensive at the school from Monday, April 10 to Thursday 13.
He was assisted during the camp by Ben Davies, who has worked with the likes Ellie Goulding, and Jess Glyne, in addition to popular shows such as X Factor and The Voice UK.
British champion gymnast Jessica Jones was also on hand to lend support during the camp, as was BGT finalist Jack Higgins.
The camp, which was held at Rydal Penrhos’ sports hall, attracted dozens of hopefuls and covered a number of areas including technique, jazz, musical theatre, commercial, lyrical and acro.
Deputy Head Tim Cashell, said: “It was great to have Dane here at Rydal Penrhos once again, and the camp has received a hugely positive response from those who attended.
“He is one of the most gifted choreographers anywhere in the world, and it was a fantastic experience for young performers’ to learn from one of the best in the business.”
