Oundle Oxbridge Success
1st February 2017

Seventeen pupils from Oundle School have received offers this year to study at Oxford and Cambridge. Fourteen of these are conditional on A level and Pre-U results, with three former pupils receiving unconditional offers.

The offers received were made across a pleasing range of subjects, with a number of pupils planning to study Classics, English and History once again successful.

The full break-down of subjects (which also includes PPE, Maths, Archaeology and Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry and Natural Sciences) reflects the wide-range of fields in which pupils impressed interviewers, and the success is testimony to the diligence of Oundle’s pupils and the dedication of their teachers.

Head, Sarah Kerr-Dineen commented, “We are delighted for all those offered a place. The achievement of these pupils – and of others who gained offers at highly competitive places of higher education – is to be applauded.”
