Felsted School has once again been named by IB-School.eu and Best-Schools.co.uk as one of the Top 40 Independent International Baccalaureate (IB) Schools.
This is in recognition of excellence in Academic Achievement in IB Results. Felsted had its largest ever cohort (37 students) taking the IB last year, and every student was successful in gaining the Diploma. This was achieved with an average score of a fraction below 34 points. This score is better than an average score of ABB at A Level, and shows how well pupils performed in these demanding examinations, based on an absolute world standard.
The IB is taken by nearly one third of the students at Felsted and a number have achieved world class scores, notably former Felstedian, Faye Calow, who achieved the required score to confirm her place at Trinity College, Oxford, to study English Language and Literature.
