Prep pupils rewarded for hard work with special Fairy Tale Ball
16th December 2016

Preparatory School pupils brought the curtain down on their term activities at a special event.

The Early Years and reception classes at Rydal Penrhos were treated to a Fairy Tale Ball, which was held on Wednesday, December 15.

Children were invited to come as their favourite character, and there were a host of amazing fancy dress costumes on show.

Everything from princesses, kings and pirates danced, ate and sang the afternoon away, and one pupil also came as the Dark Knight to ensure all proceedings went off without a hitch!

This was the end of the Early Years’ topic on Fairy Tales, where they have used famous stories such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as a method of learning.

Prep School head Roger McDuff, said: “This was fantastic way to reward our Early Years and Reception groups for all their hard work over the term, where they have applied themselves really well in a number of areas.

“Everyone made a wonderful effort with their costumes and looked amazing, plus they had a lot of fun in the process which is something we actively encourage here at Rydal Penrhos.”
