New Hall School, a boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3-18 in Chelmsford, Essex, is delighted to announce that its Preparatory Division has been ranked 28th in the Sunday Times Parent Power Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools. The rankings are based on Key Stage 2 SAT’s results, in which New Hall School pupils consistently achieve results well above the national average.
New Hall is a school with a Catholic ethos, welcoming those of all faiths or none and operates the Diamond Model structure, with a co-educational Preparatory Division and Sixth Form, and boys and girls taught separately from the ages of 11-16. This formula offers the best of both worlds, the social advantages of a co-educational environment, with single-sex education at a stage when it is most beneficial. The school also offers a varied and exciting co-curricular programme alongside these strong academic results. The performing arts are especially popular alongside music and sport, as well as more unusual offerings such as horse riding and skiing.
