A group of Business Studies pupils at Rydal Penrhos got the chance to take part in an alternative formal test recently.
The Year 10 GCSE pupils were asked to produce a board game to put into practice the different types of Business Ownership they had studied so far this year.
This was devised as a different method of applying knowledge learned throughout the half term, rather than taking a normal test.
A project manager was chosen and the pupils worked individually on specific tasks to put together the finished product.
Business Studies teacher Paul Sanders, said: “As well as building key communication and team-working skills, the pupils produced a game which showed good knowledge and understanding of the wider business world.
“As an exercise for testing knowledge, it certainly allowed the pupils to consider how everything they have done so far is linked.
“They all did really well and I would like to congratulate them for all their hard work.”
