Millfield Sport Relief Colour Run raises over £6,000 and counting
4th April 2016

On Friday 18 March, Millfield School held a Colour Run in aid of Sport Relief. Over 2000 pupils and staff took part.

Beginning with a white t-shirt, participants ran around the sports fields through clouds of powdered paint returning in a kaleidoscope of colour with a rainbow momento of their fundraising efforts. The event was a huge success with three runs during the day involving both Millfield Prep and Millfield.

The Senior Prefects team began organising the event back in January. After many weeks of hard work, the stage was set and the paint pots were loaded. The first run of the day was at the Prep School where pupils began their mile run through an arch of powered paint and finished through a funnel of fun as participants were cheered home by their teachers and classmates.
