Innovative Schools' Choir set to Wow Audience of Hundreds

The Musselburgh Primary Schools’ Community Choir set to perform to a packed audience.

Numerous rehearsals, 80 voices, 1 unforgettably brilliant performance is promised by the Musselburgh Primary Schools' Community Choir.

It will be standing room only as around 500 people pack The Brunton Theatre on Tuesday, 9th February for the much anticipated second ever performance of the Musselburgh Primary Schools' Choir.

Musselburgh Burgh Primary School, Campie Primary School, Loretto Junior School, Loretto RC Primary School, Pinkie St. Peter’s Primary School, Stoneyhill Primary School, Wallyford Primary School, Whitecraig Primary School will come together for an upliftingly wonderful performance of popular and traditional songs.

Jonathan Hewat, Director Communications at Loretto said, “This was a project we dreamed up in last year. This will be the second year of running this project, however, the February performance will see all 8 of Musselburgh’s primary and junior schools taking part for the first time.  The children are, quite simply, magnificent and we are greatly looking forward to the performance on the evening of Tuesday, 9th February.”

The performance by the Musselburgh Primary Schools’ Community Choir takes place on Tuesday, 9th February at 7:00 p.m. in The Brunton Theatre. Entry is by free ticket and these are available from The Brunton Theatre box office on 0131 665 2240.
