Preparatory pupils at a Colwyn Bay school entertained staff, parents and local dignitaries at their annual Christmas Concert.
The Early Years pupils at Rydal Penrhos performed a host of their favourite songs and carols on Wednesday, December 2 in-front of a delighted audience, which included Cllr Sibani Roy, mayor of Colwyn Bay.
Preparatory School headmaster Roger McDuff, said: “We were delighted to welcome Councillor Roy to Rydal Penrhos, and it was a real honour for our early years pupils to perform in-front of her.
“The children are always very enthusiastic about the festive period, and this year’s group proved to be no exception.
“Considering their age they all learned the songs extremely well and I know that everyone who attended was thoroughly entertained.
“We would like to thank Cllr Roy for taking time out of her busy schedule to attend.”
The performance was the first of many exciting events that are to be held at both the senior and prep schools in the lead up to their highly anticipated Christmas break, which will commence on Wednesday, December 16.
The school’s Christmas concert will take place on Tuesday, December 8, with the inaugural Christmas Market in aid of Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice set to take place on December 11.
