ALBERT Hammond is perhaps best known for his iconic song, “It never rains in Southern California”, however a one-hit-wonder, he most certainly is not. His songwriting career extends to over 40 years, writing hits for the like of Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Starship. The Loretto Junior School Choir was lucky enough to perform alongside Albert Hammond during his hit,, “Give a Little Love” on stage at  the ‘Music Box’ at Edinburgh College and The Green Man, Kinross.

Jonathan Hewat, Director of Communications at Loretto School, said,“This was a truly unforgettable, once-in-lifetime experience for the Loretto Junior School Choir – pupils aged 10-12. Albert Hammond is a prolific and highly-successful artist. This will be a gig the pupils will not forget!”
