PRIOR PARK STUDENT EARNS PLACE AT NYT
1st May 2014

A Year 11 student at Prior Park College has successfully earned herself a place as a member of the nationally renowned National Youth Theatre.

In January this year, Year 11 student at Prior Park College Georgie Fellows attended an audition in Bristol with the hope of gaining herself a place at the National Youth Theatre. The day entailed a group workshop in the morning, followed by an individual performance and feedback session in the afternoon. Georgie was ecstatic when she recently received confirmation that she had been successful in securing herself a place with this nationally renowned theatre company, which has previously produced stars such as Daniel Craig, Rosamund Pike, Colin Firth, Sir Derek Jacobi and Timothy Dalton.

As a member of the NYT Georgie will be attending a ten-day acting course in London over the summer. Before then, Georgie will be busy preparing to play the lead role in her local theatre company’s production of Grease at the end of May and is revising hard for her GCSEs during the summer term.
