Pupils starting back at Dauntsey’s this term are spoilt for choice with the range of sports being offered by the school.
Traditionally hockey and rugby are the primary sports for the autumn term but, due to Covid restrictions, the sports coaches have had to be a little more creative.
The aim, particularly on Saturday afternoons, is to involve as many pupils as possible, within their social bubbles, in a variety of different sports, spread throughout the grounds and facilities.
Options offered to pupils include athletics, cricket, tennis, netball, football, outdoor dance, hockey, swimming, touch rugby.
Marcus Olsen, Director of Sport, Dauntsey’s said:
“We are extremely fortunate to have such extensive grounds here at Dauntsey’s, meaning that pupils have a lot of space to spread out and enjoy the wide range of sporting activities on-site. The coaching team have really enjoyed putting together a varied programme this term and our new all-weather athletics track has really come into its own.”
