Millfield Headmaster, Gavin Horgan, said, “These fantastic results are a testament to all of our pupils’ hard work and dedication and the quality of teaching at Millfield. I’m delighted to see so many multitalented pupils amongst the names listed in our top achievers; not only have they done well academically, but they have also excelled in music, sport and co-curricular activities as well. Amongst our top achievers are a pianist, chellist, singer, a Hickstead Championship winning horse-rider, a representative for the UK team at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad, an England age-group hockey player, a nationally ranked tennis player and a county academy female cricketer. On behalf of the school, I wish all Year 11 pupils’ success as they embark on the next stage of their education.”
