Rydal Penrhos is delighted to announce a new set of Prefects for the 2019/20 academic year.
A total of 11 successful applicants have been awarded the coveted roles by Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, Head of Sixth Form Leah Crimes and Executive Principal John Waszek, and they started their new roles at the start of the summer term.
Keira Bonnington, Niamh Hall, Cerys Howells, Orla McGagh Alexandra Williams, Zahra Shamsi and Angharad Rowlands will form the female contingent of the Prefect team, with all contributing significantly across all areas of Rydal Penrhos life during their time at the school.
Rounding off the team is Harry Hackman, Sam Jones and Jamie Lavery, with each Prefect working with Head Boy Ioan Peake-Jones, Head Girl Millie Collins, their deputies and House Captains to ensure the smooth running of the school from a pupil perspective in the coming months.
Mrs Harding, said: “Our newly appointed Prefects all demonstrated a tremendous determination to secure their respective positions, and I am confident they are all going to be a massive success during the final year of their time here at Rydal Penrhos.
“They are great role models for the younger members of the school community and also represent Rydal Penrhos in a positive way at various community events throughout the academic year.
“This is something we are enormously proud of and I would like to congratulate them all on their appointments.”
