Early Years children at Rydal Penrhos visited a Colwyn Bay residential home for an Easter themed activity day.
The youngest members of the Rydal Penrhos community made the short journey to Merton Place on Pwllycrochan Avenue on Tuesday, April 2, which is part of an ongoing community initiative at the facility throughout the academic year.
There was plenty for the children and residents to participate in during the latest visit, which began with an Easter craft making session.
The activity produced plenty of creative items that will be on display at the facility and at the Prep School.
This was followed by an Easter egg hunt around the site, where children and residents hunted down the tasty treats to take home for the holidays.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “We are enormously proud of our community involvement with Merton Place, which is something our Early Years children get a tremendous amount out of.
“Their experiences there outline their selfless nature even from a very young age, and seeing them interact with the residents of Merton Place is mutually beneficial and is heart-warming to see.
“I would also like to thank staff at the facility for making us feel so welcome on every visit, and to our Early Years staff for their ongoing commitment to every project during the academic year.”
