Dulwich College to celebrate its 400th anniversary in 2019
8th February 2019

In 2019 Dulwich College will commemorate and celebrate its 400th anniversary with a vibrant and diverse programme of activities and events. The list of events includes Dulwich Olympiad 2019, a truly international event in March when Dulwich College will host some 800 participants from the Dulwich College International schools. They, alongside the boys here in London (and girls from James Allen’s Girls’ School), will compete and showcase their skills in Sport, Music, Drama and Art.  In June 2019 the Dulwich Film Festival Week will be launched by internationally recognised film critic and historian David Thomson (an Old Alleynian) and comprise screenings and talks focused on Old Alleynian actors, writers and producers, as well as the College as a film location. The year will also see a special Founder’s Week, a packed timetable of concerts and commemorative celebrations, including a service at St Paul’s Cathedral.

‘’During 2019 we will commemorate and celebrate the 400th anniversary of Dulwich College and it is my honour and privilege to be Master at this time. We look forward to welcoming many from the wider Dulwich community onto our campus over the year’’ Dr Joe Spence, Master of Dulwich College.
