This half-day seminar will include an update on the latest relevant Government guidance relating to the return to school, particularly with regard to medical provision in boarding schools. Topics will include latest clinical guidance relating to children with Coronavirus; risk-assessing and managing your medical provision in school; utilising and managing PPE, and care and support of a boarder when they become unwell. The seminar will be suitable for a variety of school set-ups, including for those schools which do not have registered nurses on their staff. The session will conclude with a Q&A to answer specific questions and refer to additional support as necessary.
This half-day seminar is being led by BSA Nurse Advisor, Jane Graham, and Director of Safeguarding, Standards and Training, Dale Wilkins.
