The challenge of meeting the pastoral needs of students continues to be a demanding
one particularly in relation to their emotional and mental health. This residential
workshop will provide an opportunity to focus on the essential components of best
practice in pastoral care and boarding welfare.
A mixture of keynote speakers and tutor led sessions will explore key pastoral issues
and consider practical strategies to help you meet such challenges.

This residential workshop is ideal for staff new to the role as well as more experienced
members of the boarding team.
