Senior boarders' issues

Who should attend? Any member of staff wishing to review and update their thinking and practice in relation to the support given to senior students.
Why you should attend? Senior pupils/boarder face considerable pressures on both the academic and social development fronts. Their ability to cope with examination stress and manage personal relationships is often severely tested at a time when expectations are high on all sides. This workshop is designed to help staff address some of the key issues/challenges which our senior pupils/boarders are faced with. the two external speakers will review current thinking and present practical ideas and strategies to support you in your role.
Following from the Government's announcement about a new SRE curriculum for schools, this is an ideal opportunity to get the latest thinking on these very important areas affecting young people's development. It will enable the delegate to speak with certainty and confidence to the young adults in their care.
