Meeting boarder needs

Why should you attend? Our schools are faced with an ever-increasing set of challenges relating to ensuring the successful growth and development of our students whatever their age. Transition through adolescence and puberty are now further complicated by the influence of such aspects of modern life such as social media, new technologies and internet related behaviours. School staff therefore do need to be able to adapt their approaches and practice to ensure that their support is both appropriate and timely. This seminar will provide an opportunity to better understand the traditional and emerging needs of school students and to explore what strategies and approaches can best be used to help you to help students meet these needs. We will utilise case studies to explore the key issues and consider the best solutions.
