Induction training for GAP assistants

Date: January 20, 2017

Course content: Are you engaging young energetic gap assistants to support your pastoral or boarding provision?  Would you like them to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to make the best start in their new role? If the answers are yes, then read on!

Programme: These seminars will cover the Duty of Care, what the law requires; what the school and the house can reasonably expect relationships and communication with pupils. We will look at emotional intelligence and how the gap assistant can work effectively and safely in a pastoral role. In addition, we will explore boundaries and expectations.
