The role: Resident Matron

 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Resident Boarding Matron from September 2022 to work as part of the residential team to provide pastoral support and frontline medical care to the boarders, to undertake general housekeeping duties, liaise with catering department and to carry out some duties within the school.

 

The post is residential, the Matron is required to be onsite overnight on call apart from on days off, for which a flat within the boarding house is provided.

 

We are looking for someone keen to make an impact on the lives of students at the School. You will be in the privileged position of supporting our students pastorally here at RHS, particularly within Boarding and ensuring they integrate smoothly and lead a full and active RHS life will be one of your responsibilities. You will need to be full of encouragement and a genuine care for the girls in our community so that they flourish. Experience within boarding schools will be useful, but not essential.
