We require a Matron for Victoria girl’s boarding house for September 2024. The position requires an enthusiastic and nurturing individual to provide domestic and pastoral wellbeing for boarding and day students aged 13-18.
Applicants need to be able to communicate appropriately with students, colleagues and parents and ideally be experienced in a domestic and laundry environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook) is essential, and experience gained in a supervisory role as well as textile skills would be advantageous.
Main duties include liaising with the Housemistress and undertaking administration and other duties as requested.
Hours are flexible depending on the needs of the house, between 8:00am-5:30pm Monday – Friday during term time. This post will involve working 34 per weeks per year (33 weeks of term time plus 5 days to be worked during school holidays).
The post attracts an annual salary of £18,924 per annum (including paid holiday). This figure is subject to any annual pay award given to all staff from September 2024.
