This seminar aims to clarify many of the difficult legal issues faced by boarding school managers and staff, enabling them to understand the welfare implications of current legislation. Topics to be covered will include safeguarding pupils’ welfare, school discipline, separated parents, and the possible clash between parental responsibility and the school’s duty of care.
