This seminar is intended to help governors to focus more clearly on their role in monitoring boarding
provision and providing appropriate support for the school, and on their legal responsibilities. It will
cover challenges and trends in boarding; monitoring boarding provision; governors' boarding and welfare responsibilities; legal requirements; and will provide extensive opportunities for discussion in workshop groups.
