Felsted School will also be hosting its third Model United Conference this Sunday 4th and Monday 5th February. It is not an exaggeration to say that pupils will be debating, discussing and attempting to solve some of the world’s biggest problems during the 2012 Felsted Model United Nations Conference. The exciting schedule involves students at every level (local state, private, regional, national and international schools), with some attending from as far away as China, Morocco, Switzerland and Germany.

BADMINTON PUPIL GAINS TOP MARKS IN THE COUNTRY FOR GRADE 8 VIOLIN

Year 8 Badminton student, Amelia Gilmartin (13), has just been awarded one of the top marks in the country for her Grade 8 violin. Amelia who gained 145 out of a possible 150 marks, a distinction, performed the third movement of Suite Hebraique by Bloch, Concerto in E Major, first movement, by Vivaldi and Legende by Henryk Wieniawski.

Ratcliffe College: Opening of the new cricket nets 2012

Whilst the cricket season may seem a life-time away, cricket was very much at the forefront of discussion on Friday 20th January 2012, which saw the eagerly anticipated opening of the new indoor cricket nets. The four indoor nets are of the highest quality, and provide first-class facilities for all concerned, courtesy of an extremely generous donation from an anonymous parent.
